The lenses are made from HyperGel (Nesofilcon A) to ensure high water content and oxygen permeability. These toric lenses from Bausch + Lomb provide exceptional comfort and performance all day long. Biotrue ONEday for Astigmatism contains 30 contact lenses. These daily disposable lenses relieve the annoyances caused by astigmatism, such as headaches and blurred vision.
High water content = endless comfort
Biotrue ONEday for Astigmatism contact lenses have been extensively tested to prove their ability to retain at least 98% of their moisture content for 16 hours. They have a water content of 78%, which is close to the natural water content of the cornea. The lenses provide even moisture and hydration, making them comfortable for even the most sensitive eyes.
Biotrue ONEday daily contact lenses are made from HyperGel, a combination of hydrogel and silicone hydrogel ingredients. This combination of materials gives the contact lenses a very high water content and good oxygen permeability. The active particles of HyperGel technology are located on the top surface of the lenses, creating a lipid layer. The function of this layer is to stop the dehydration process. Due to their optical properties, the lenses remain moist throughout wear. The water content of the lenses is 78%, which is close to the water content of the cornea.
In addition to their exceptionally high water content, Biotrue ONEday lenses are made from high-performance HyperGel material, which promises high oxygen permeability (42 DK/t). The increased breathability enhances comfort and performance, making the lenses comfortable to wear throughout the day.
Bausch + Lomb's developers have introduced a per-ballast (prism-free) technology to stabilize the lens while designing an ultra-thin lens that provides greater oxygen permeability. This lens design also provides sharp vision while reducing glare.
Your lens is in the correct position when the positioning signal is at 6 o'clock. The lenses are lightly tinted for easy handling and visibility. For added protection, the lenses are UV protected.
